"The hotel was in a good location. The rooms were clean and of a good size (family room). The sofa bed was acceptable for a child but Iess so for an adult, as expected. The breakfast was very good, plenty of options in the buffet and one of the staff even offered to make fresh pancakes for the kids, which was very well received. "The hotel was very nice. The breakfast was excellent. The room was very spacious and clean. A great view of the water. Easy walking distance to the amenities of the town. Staff was very courteous and kind. Wonderful place to make some memories."

"Very average. Couldn't find a parking space when I arrived. Dinner finishes at 20:00, obviously this is too early. Shower had mould in it. Breakfast was nothing special, first Hotel I have ever stayed at with no black tea? On the plus side the bed was clean and comfortable. "

"Amal is a good location for exploring the lakes. There a couple of ok places to eat out, but not as many as I'd have liked. Definitely a base rather than a location. Hotel is in an older building and decorated sympathetically. Our room had plenty of space, but no tea or coffee making facilities."
