"The property is in very good decorative condition with lovely seating areas. Service was excellent and the staff very welcoming and friendly. Food was good but I would have liked a simpler choice on the menu for times when you don't want a heavy type of meal. "

"I was initially a bit worried about noise from the very busy road outside, but the double glazing was excellent and I never heard any traffic at all. My single room was clean, comfortable, well equipped and had an excellent shower in the ensuite. My only slight niggle was the lack of BBC1 and BBC2 on the TV (despite me reinstalling the channels). However, what makes this B&B stand out is Morven, the landlady. She couldn't do enough for me when my car broke down and is an absolute star. She is friendly and welcoming but not intrusive. I will be back!"

"This hotel is need a little glamour lift on the outside, the location is spectacular, the staff excellent, so clean you could eat off the floor, food is great with an eclectic variety, and I cannot praise it enough. Lovely interior, speed check-in, wonderful bar/lounge and the locarion is great. The elevator is small so travel light or beware if you have claustrophobia. "
