Unresponsive Owner & Unnecessary/Approved Charges
Be careful, you will get charged for any LITTLE damage that is “found”. I was charged $30 for a towel that was apparently ripped even though it was like that before we got there. There is no way the towel was brand new or even $30 for that matter but you have to pay a deposit and the owner just decides what he wants to keep. He is very unresponsive and ignores emails when trying to understand what the costs are.
The wifi password didnt work all weekend and he was unresponsive. Never got it sorted out.
The house is nothing special. The nieghborhood isnt great. Stay somewhere else if you can to avoid dealing with the owner. $30 isnt a lot of money but its the principle of trying to charge people over what you paid for something and not even having proof that we are the ones that ripped it. According to my dad it was there when he used it so its his word against the owner but instead of good customer service he chose to take my money and ignore. Poor business = poor reviews.
