"Home maintenance please pay attention to one particular shower cabin (the one at the end)- terrible function,water was literally just DRIPPING from the shower head,drip..drip..drip,by then I was already undressed of course,and the other cabins were already occupied. Btw,I was staying at 4th.floor. Please check it out. Thx.room 403. But otherwise enjoyed my stayed."

"We needed a stay for one night in Edinburgh and it was perfect! We had a private room, which was spacious and the bed was very comfy! The amenities were updated and very nice. We shared a bathroom and kitchen with another private room. It was in the center of a lot of great spots. Good bars nearby and great shopping. Would definitely go back if we stay in Edinburgh again! "

"My family of four adults just needed a place to sleep after getting off a bus tour and before boarding an early flight. I booked a whole room, so we would have it to ourselves, but there are common bathrooms shared. Property was clean. We lucked out and got to take part in a trivia night in the bar. We lost but had fun. Food and drinks were good. Location is awesome. We roamed the streets and walked to the castle one last time before going to bed and catching our flight."

"Great place , clean, friendly staff , room was a good size for 2 people. The only thing to keep in mind is that it is 35 min walking from the center."

"Was cheap and cheerful. Small bed but was fine for a night. Reception had free earplugs etc and lovely Staff. Would stay again Only bad part was the closest parking we could get was a 10 Min walk "

"I was staying somewhere else first but tgat place was horrible. This hotel was great. Amazing vibe, clean, soft bed, quiet and modern. The receptionist was also really kind and friendly. I will definitely come again !"

"The staff were great. The place was a very close walk to the tram , which was amazing for getting around the city. The place was clean and the building felt secure. As a student dorm , it was as expected, nothing flashy but that’s all that was needed to enjoy the city. There is a grocery store and a Starbucks very close which was also very convenient. "

"Comfortable walk ro Princess Street, Castle , shops, pubs etc There is a bus stop right outside the door if walking is not an option The one suggestion I would make is for guests to bring eye madks, as the curtains are very thin and the outside street lights shine right into the bedrooms facing the front street Kitchen is very well equipped, showers have good water pressure, lots of hot water, "

"We had a brilliant stay at the Cheval! Beautiful building, the apartment was spotless and had everything we could possibly need. Lovely decor throughout. The bed was very comfy, we had a great nights sleep. Staff polite and helpful. Excellent location. Would high recommend! "

Lovely experience at Point A Hotels.

"Very lovely, modern and new hotel. Everything was very clean and well taken care of, from the lobby, to the lifts, to the rooms themselves. The rooms were a little on the small side but we were fine with it. The location was perfect too, and everything is within walking distance. Other than to get to and from the airport, we didn’t need to take public transport at all. "

"I cannot fault this property at all. We went as a family of four. From check in to check out, everything was flawless. Our family room with a view over the castle was very clean and comfortable and so was the bathroom. We had drinks and dinner at the restaurant one evening and Martin was very attentive. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Edinburgh. "

"Great stay for visit to the Playhouse. Walking distance from Waverly station, to St James Quarter and Playhouse. Best location for what we we had planned. Floor 0 takes you to Waverly station avoiding all the traffic lights and longer walk to station. Staff lovely, rooms beautiful. "

"Excellent value for location and amenities. About a 10 min walk from Waverley and key sites, nestled between Castle and university yet still quiet at night (I would enthusiastically recommend for families visiting the university). Room was large and had both a bath and a separate shower, as well as a fridge and kettle. Decor was fresh, good quality bedding. Pool and sauna are at larger sister hotel, but gaining access was straightforward. Reception and housekeeping staff at both hotels were absolutely lovely."
