"The place is impeccably clean - maybe because it is new. The price was fair too. The location is a little weird at the end of an unlit unpaved road that could give some trepidation. But they are good at organizing trips and tours. I got very personalized service when I needed to get to the post office. Meals are a bit of a challenge in that the nearest restaurant is about a half mile away. But there are Tuk tuks everywhere. Beach access is about a 3/4 mile. But the hotel is waterfront and the view from the mangrove bay it sits next to is really nice. "

"Parrot hotel is a relaxing little heaven with some cute parrots and amazing staff. Rooms are spacious, clean and have all what you need. "

"Great stay outside of the city. The Wild Orchid was accommodating and friendly. The hotel is about a 15 mins stay outside of the city which we liked but be aware if you like to be in the middle of the city. Rooms are clean and property is beautiful. We were there end of Jan so the water was a bit choppy. But still beautiful. "

"The views were wonderful! The amenities were great on paper, a few were not ready for us to use (shooting range & submarine diving). Scuba diving, kayaking, snorkeling, swimming all were readily available and the staff was very willing to support in any way (and very passionate! Thank you Jeff, Francisco, Francis and Ryan) The breakfast buffet left something to be desired. The food felt as if it was prepared for the masses; not fresh or well seasoned. The paid menu was limited, but acceptable. Lots of different cultural influences, but didn’t seem to have a staple. It was a par at everything, excellent at nothing. I would find a niche that could provide a stellar experience and market off of that. "
