"I recently stayed at the Noom, formally the Radisson Hotel. The hotel accommodations were great. My only area of concern was the customer service for food. Several times when I ordered, I had to wait an extended period. However, I observed other guests arriving promptly after receiving their food. One night, it was cool as I sat outside and requested a blanket. When I ordered my food, the server did not come to check to see if I was pleased with the service. "Lagon 2 is an excellent hotel and one of the best choices in Dakar. The location on the water is very beautiful and the hotel is very comfortable, clean and the staff are all very gracious and helpful. The air conditioning works well and the room is spacious. The breakfast is very good with beautiful views to start your day. The Lagon 1 restaurant nearby is excellent with very good seafood. From the hotel, you can walk along the water into the town and then Independence Plaza. I recommend Lagon...

Nothing like working on the balcony with a sea breeze and view of the pirogues! :) The staff are also amazingly friendly and wonderful, and you can just walk out the door and be on the beach and have access to all the restaurants around, incluiding the delicious seafood at Cabane du Pecheur next door!"
