"Leela Palace was certainly nice. However, it is an older property that needs some renovation and maintenance. Food was good but not the best on our Rajasthan tour by any means. Service was good but certainly not at the level of the other Indian 5-star properties."

"Beautiful property in amazing gardens. I loved the pool too. Only 1 restaurant but excellent buffet. The gym a/c wasn’t working when I arrived. I was amazed to find it in such a bad state. But after complaining direct to the GM it was fixed when I returned the next day. "

"The checking in process was smoth and simple goven that it was a last mibtue booking. The room was comfortable, to an normal standard. The pool was relaxing as it overlooked the lake, although only one umbrella was working so could not sit by the lake. The restuarants offered a good selection, and tapas restaurant served tasty food. The breakfast, the local cuisine was of a good standard, however, the pastry section could have been alot fresher, as they were hard. The only other thing was...

"Everything was perfect at the property except the noise after hours (after 11 pm). Wedding guests were allowed to make noise to a degree where we couldn't fall asleep until 4 am. This is completely unacceptable and unfair to other guests at property. The walls are thin and we could also hear guests talking loud at midnight 4 rooms away from us. We had to let them know to keep the noise low. Didn't expect this paying top $ for the stay. I would have definitely given a 5 star rating otherwise."
