"Perfect for staying by the Inselsee for a couple of days. Beautiful location by the lake. Maybe better to come with a car, but 15 min walk there are occasional buses to train station also. Bike rental nearby. Service superb and friendly. Nice buffet breakfast. With such bargain price really worth to go for. "

"A very loud fire alarm went off at 4am and went on for quite a while. I was already running on the stairs when it stopped. Goodbye sleep. The following morning I was expecting some apologies but no. When I mentioned it, the guy at the reception very cheerfully said "Oh, that. Yes, there was no fire, it was just a coffee machine. But so we know that the alarm works!" Which is Mecklenburg-Vorpommern idea of sense of humour, maybe."

"My email concerning how to check-in arrived after my check-out, so my check-in was confusing. The room was really good. Breakfast was, due to Corona, a paperback to be eaten in my room, with bread, ham, cheese, yoghurt, fruit, and a cup of coffee. Under the circumstances really good."

"Charming small hotel visited a week before Easter 2024 - not their peak season so I suspect it is sometimes harder to get the lovely room on the 5th floor - but the room itself was a solid without being outstanding. The breakfast included in the room was decent - perhaps not as good as in some larger hotels but it would be unfair to expect them to provide as much variety in such a small hotel - and the made to order choose your eggs was a nice touch. "Also ich bin recht viel in Hotels unterwegs und das hier war eines der schlechtesten... - Sprachbarriere beim Check in - "hätten Sie angerufen, wärs billiger" - Im Zimmer Heizung aus und Fenster offen, bei 0°C - Vorhänge kaputt und dreckig - Schimmel und Rost im dreckigen Bad - Tapete gerissen - schon der Eingang zum Flur sah fragwürdig aus 0 Frühstück war ok, ein gekochtes Ei darf auch gern warm sein + sehr zentrale Lage direkt am Marktplatz"
