We enjoyed the seclusion and opportunity to watch the wildlife from the wraparound porch. Comfortable accommodations with well appointed amenities. Would stay there again.
We very much enjoyed staying at the cabin for our friends wine weekend. The location was perfect and very convenient to the wineries. We would love to stay here again another time.
We enjoyed our stay very much!! It was very quiet and peaceful!! We got to see the hawk a couple of times, along with a fox and deer! Would definitely recommend!!
We had an amazing four nights in the cabin. Fantastic location close to everything, yet you feel miles away from anything. Comfy bed, great deck for deer watching and loved just sitting by the fireplace. Thank you for a memorable stay!
We were attending a wedding and needed a place for 2 nights near Dahlonega. This cabin was perfect because it was close to the event venue and offered us the opportunity to explore the town a little bit too. We found it to be clean, comfortable and located in a quiet and peaceful rural area.
Beautiful, clean and remote home...far enough away to feel like you are in the middle of nowhere...but close enough to Dahlonega and Helen to enjoy some shopping/sightseeing. Highly recommend this home!
We so enjoyed your property! Everything was perfect, thank you so much for sharing your cabin with us! Will definitely recommend to friends and family!
It was a good experience! We have rented for many years….good location for e we hat we had planned. Stairs are a. Bit weird but solid and we managed 🙏🏻
What a perfect place to stay!!! Very comfortable and cozy and so relaxing!!! Loved sitting on the back porch listening to the creek and watching the deer!! It was majestic!!!! Can’t wait to come back!!!
Beautiful woodland view with a babbling creek, hawks, deer and turkey sightings. It was just husband & I but cabin easily sleeps 6. Enjoyed the fire pit and fire place. Check out the wineries, gold mines, Shenanigans Irish Pub, downtown Dahlonega.
Spent the week in this warm, comfortable two-story cabin, tucked away in the woods but a 15 minute drive to Dahlonega and great restaurants. Setting was very peaceful, cabin was well stocked, with everything I needed and more. Great WiFi connection. Perfect place to get some writing done and just relax.
Our stay was enjoyable, everything we needed was there. Lack of cable news was frustrating, but we made good use of Nexflix.
Morning coffee on back deck was our favorite together time of the trip. Would consider staying again.
This place was fantastic! This property was one of the cleanest properties we have stayed at so far. Michele was great and was available to answer questions. The sound of the creek on the large porch was so relaxing. I love the outdoor lights (great touch). The property is so private too. We loved everything about this place and will book again!!!!
Close to Dahlonega, but such a private, natural setting! Loved the view of undeveloped woods, creek, birds singing in the tall-tall trees, hawks squawking. Spotted a deer one morning. Cabin is stocked with necessities. Master bed is comfortable. A/C excellent and water pressure was great. Rustic cabin with real cedar and stone inside. Would return!
This place was just what the Doctor ordered! Quaint, peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed the amenities, the cabin was nicely stocked and had everything we needed except an apple corer. 🤣🤷♀️ just kidding, we loved our stay, I enjoyed coffee on the back tranquil porch, and beautiful spring creek. Kids had a blast exploring. Very clean place, maybe I said that already. But Im a nurse. Anyways, stay here, you won't be disappointed! Melissa
The property was great for us, particularly our 6 year old who thoroughly explored the mud creek in the back of the property every day. She also liked the loft bedroom where she slept. Nice big shower to clean up in after mud creek exploring too. The inside of the cabin had everything we needed and the fireplace was nice and really put out some heat. The fire pit outside was nice as well with a very large supply of wood to curb as needed.
Objectively speaking, the only room for improvement would be to the first set of access stairs from the cabin to the side of the cabin that leads to the next set of stairs to the creek. That first step has a piece of wood that is rotting which my daughter learned of the hard way (but she was absolutely fine). But, given how nice the own seemed in our other communications I bet that step will be addressed before your stay if you are reading this now).
Again, we had a really nice stay and if we were to come to that area again we would have no hesitation staying there again.

Not enough lighting, no window coverings on master bedroom window and security light went on.
I would not rent this property again. There was not enough lighting. The place had enough room to sleep 6 people but not enough seating.
The outdoor security light went on and off all night and there were no window covering so we woke up every time it went on.
The fireplace was kind of a mess. Not user friendly and we were a bit nervous about the gas. Had to call the owner to help and she sent us a video to watch to get it lit. Scary really.
