Weekend in Dahlonega
We arrived and our code didn’t work to enter the home. After sitting in the dark 10 mins or more the code was reset to allow us to enter the rental. The smoke detector was beeping and after we contacted the management company they told us a local service would be fixing it. After two days of listening to the beep, they told us it would be fixed after our check out. It was difficult sleeping in the master bedroom with the constant beep. The TV was on when we entered the rental and the couches, and one bathroom was dirty. But the location was good and beds were comfortable.

Nice place!
The house is older, but well kept and the interior is very modern. The pool was great aside from some missing fencing around it that needs to be replaced. Overall a great place to stay!

Amazing stay!
We really enjoyed our stay here!! The place was clean and the pool was amazing! There was plenty of space for all of us to move about freely and not be on top of each other! We had a few minor issues that were addressed immediately. We stayed during 4th of July and had a few fireworks for the kids. We did encounter a "Karen" that lived thru the woods in the back somewhere. However we accommodated her wishes and had no other problems. We would definitely stay here again!!

Excellent Photographer!
The pictures make the house really nice, but reality is that it has been poorly renovated. Mix and match flooring with uneven thresholds, questionable electrical connections, terrible Wi-Fi, and a set of stairs to enter and exit the house. All this would be fine if they charged accordingly. We paid WAY too much for a house of that caliber.

It was about 12-16 low. Parking should be in front of house. Not sure if we will make a return trip. We are there at least once a year.

Property was not ready for check in on time, no communication. Cable tv did not work during stay, no one attempted to resolve the issue. Broken furniture, poor maintenance terrible communication. Its a nice location close to Dahlonega, but would not stay here again.

It’s all in the details
The property was not what was portrayed in the website. It appeared clean, until you really looked: Potato chips in the seam of the couch (among the post of other things), dirt under tables, a bug infestation in the ceilings, hornet nest directly above the front door which prohibited you from entering or exiting that door for fear of being stung. The master bedroom showerhead did not work and the “inviting” Swimming pool was extremely dirty and ice cold. When I called to ask that the hornets nest be taken care of, they told me that there was some bug spray that I could use to try and kill it. Needless to say, I was not gonna put myself or my family in that kind of danger. The bright spot was I did have all my family together and we did have a wonderful time, despite the accommodations

Loved the place but don't come if you're expecting perfection.
Great property and great location. Nice and private but close enough to town if ya still want to do stuff. Was the perfect pandemic getaway. That being said, there were a few things about the place. It felt really clean but you can tell the renters before had a birthday party or something there (still tape/bits of a banner on the wall and bits of glitter in random places). There was also a footprint on the ceiling (kinda odd, haha) and a bunch of leftover chalk art on the door of the carport. The pool looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. Bunch of sediment, a bit of confetti, and other stuff at the bottom of the pool. They had a skimmer that was about half full of dead bugs already but all that said the pool still felt like it was clean and had the right amount of chemicals in it. With all that we think the steep cleaning fee seems kind of odd considering that there was all this stuff looked over. All around though, we loved it. It's definitely not perfect but hey, we're not either. It felt clean enough to were we felt safe during all this craziness. Hope to come back sometime next year with some friends and family.

Got Better Over Time
Initial rating was a 1 star: Broken furniture, Spiders, Mis Guided advertising. As we arrived, we were greeted with broken, rickety fencing around the pool. Spiders and webs EVERYWHERE. Broken boards and chairs just lying in the front yard. The pool area had broken chairs, half deflated pool floats and broken pool net. The code provided for the front door did not work. When we called customer support, they insisted we were not entering it correctly and eventually gave us the lock box code to use the key. Entering the home, we were surprised with new flooring and updated bathroom and kitchens. The cleanliness was appreciated as well. However, It was very odd to see giant bike locks on half of the kitchen cabinets and unmade top bunk beds. When we reached out to customer care about needing bedding for the beds, we were told the top bunks were not included in the booking and are not available for use..???? then why have them at all? We had 8 adult women and were excited that this home was going to give each of us our own space. The washer and dryer are located in the basement... its terrifying. Roaches, cigarette butts, broken furniture. If you are expecting your guests to use the w/d then the space should be appropriate. *Not deal breakers but would be nice: There was No water filter on the fridge or Brita. There were no Additional Towels, just 1 per person. The extra star comes from the overall fact that the pool made the stay worth it. A/C worked great!

Home owner please read
This review is so the home owner knows what an awful job Vacasa the property manager is doing. I checked in on 8/3 upon check in I looked around house downstairs looked very nice the house has 4 remodeled bathrooms and a new kitchen. Upstairs it was very warm thermostat was set to 70 and it was 83 degrees the ceiling fan in the king room upstairs the fan blades were failing off not safe to use. The bunk beds in the other room were so rickety they were not safe to even sleep on the lower bunk. There was leftover moldy food on the window sill and a lot of dead bugs in windows. Thick dust on beds and trash under beds.there are also no fire alarms on first floor. I called Vacasa to report issues. I was told maintenance would be in touch and would be there today. I was there 4 nights and never heard from anyone. I went to the store and Bought tools so I could fix the fan and the beds so I felt comfortable. I have rented Multiple homes and Have never seen anything like this, the cleaning fee is very expensive for this house and the cleaning company is Doing nothing. I received a text while I was there from Vacasa cleaning services asking Me about the property. I told them Everything and attached photos of all the trash and dirt in bedroom.They said thank you but Never heard anything else from them I have also never seen A Property with absolutely no cleaning supplies. I left $20 in cleaning supplies at the House maybe they’ll use them. The owners are being taken by Vacasa.

Poor entrance. Extremely poor lighting at the entrance. Can NOT see the Number of the property. Extremely small Bathroom inn the first floor. No place to leave the soap in the shower in the first floor.Inadequate amount of cleaning material on arrival.Very old chairs in living room. Dirty areas around the house.

Was a bit disappointed, thinking there was more of a view. The inside was very roomy, clean, and furnished functionally. Can see this property is probably under renovation. The outside needs a lot of work obviously. But we were very comfortable inside and it was convenient to the Three Gap Bicycle Event in Dahlonega. No complaints and encouragement to the owners as they update and improve the exterior of this home.

Great place, good location
Great place for all ages. Pool was clean and area private by the pool. Road noise could be heard outside, but not inside. House was clean and updated inside, however updates needed outside. Quick trip to town and wineries. Overall would stay there again!

Not terrible but not worth the price
The house is next to an extremely busy road with traffic all night. The upstairs area is constantly 5 degrees hotter than downstairs. The outside of the house is slightly run down and most interior ceiling no longer work upstairs or in bedrooms. The pictures are deceiving to the state of the house.

Exactly What We Needed
We came for a long weekend to celebrate my daughter graduating elementary school. We chose the location bc of its proximity to Georgia's Little Grand Canyon and because it has a pool. It was exactly what we needed to reconnect as a family. The pool was great. My daughter loved it. It was clean inside and around the pool. Plenty of pool toys and floats. Plenty of seating. I did not like the way the back door to the pool was. It would swing open and had no railing on one side by design and I just worried my kid would fall but she did not. That was my only complaint about our whole stay. The beds were comfy. The couches left a little to be desired but we didn't use them much. Just for winding down before bed. The kitchen was great for cooking. Grill worked fine. Dishwasher worked. Showers were nice. Water pressure was great! We didn't hear much road traffic at all. There are not neighbors close enough to hear either even though there is a house across the street, we simply didn't hear them at all. Local restaurants were awesome. Plenty to do around town. There's a small zoo close by as well.

Family Trip
The pool was enjoyed by our family. The house on the outside needs painting and some repairs. Only negative thing for me is the downstairs king bedroom doesn’t have an attached bathroom. You have to walk through living room and bathroom w/shower is on the other side of house by the dining room. There is a small bathroom next to kitchen.

Great time
We really enjoyed our time at this place it was very big and nice . No issues at all all was so nice and relaxing great way to spend a family vacation. We did not get a chance to try out the pool we wanted to but it was raining the whole time made it even colder . Yes it’s December but it still looked nice . Everything was just great beds were nice and couches were nice wish the fireplace was a working one but instead it was a electric light logs still looked nice . Tv upstairs was nice to in the master bedroom just had to leave the hallway light on to watch it . Worked out good for our youngest son who doesn’t like the dark . Our sons loved all the room they had in the house . We truly felt spoiled and more . We live in a single wide trailer and to have stayed here in a big Beautiful house 🏠 was truly amazing. You can’t go wrong with staying here every thing was provided for you to . It’s agreat place to stay . If you had any issues the people are a phone call away and very helpful to . . We definitely would recommend anyone to stay there and would definitely stay again to . All around so great .

Great home for the price! Great location
Older home that has been updated- clean and has great spaces for gathering & lounging. Our only issue was with safety for young kids. The door to the pool wasn't secure enough to prevent my 3 yo from getting out there. A keyed deadbolt or a higher lock is necessary. Also, the gas on the stove can be turned on easily and one burner didn't have an ignitor so it could just free-flow if bumped. We would stay here again, but hope that these changes will be made for families with young kids.
