Beautiful Private Country Home with 3 bedroom/2 baths nestled in the North Georgia mountains . Property (STR 011-2019) next to Montaluce Winery, minutes from downtown Dahlonega where you can enjoy the history, dining and ambiance of the square. Close to beautiful waterfalls, parks, biking and hiking trails. Plenty of beautiful streams and waterfalls to explore. The home sits on six beautiful acres on a quite country road. Come and explore!

This country style 2,000 sq. foot home is fully equipped with a gourmet kitchen, outdoor grill, cable tv and internet, and boasts a magnificent master bathroom complete with an oversized shower and two-person soaking tub. The house comes with one king-sized bed in the master bedroom, one queen bed and two twin beds (twin beds located in loft.) The home sleeps 6 comfortably, yet easy to accommodate more, if needed. There is a large dining room table that will seat 10 or more - perfect for your family gatherings.

Please no smoking or pets allowed in the house. However, I do have 1 outside cat which you may or may not see. I will have premeasured cat food and would appreciate if you could feed them for me. There may or may not be a rooster roaming around the yard, he comes and goes and he is harmless ... but you don't have to feed him.

The perfect cabin for any celebration!
We were absolutely amazed when we arrived at Katy J's. This home is beautiful and on a beautiful piece of property. There is everything you could possibly need for your vacation or celebration, from the dishes and wine glasses, to the pots, pans and baking dishes, all the linens, pillows, blankets and sheets and even racks of spices! The kitchen is a chef's dream with gas stove, two ovens and a large fridge. The owner's suite is stunning, with the most comfortable bed, an extra-large attached bathroom including a massive shower, large soaking tub and more closet space than you could ever need. One of the things we loved most about this cabin is all the large windows in each room, bringing the outdoors in. The porches in both front and back of the house are large with lots of conversation areas. We enjoyed having our coffee on the front porch in the morning and watching the variety of birds, including cardinals, mockingbirds and hummingbirds. Our interactions with Katherine, the owner, were amazing. She is an outstanding host, very informative, and a genuinely nice person. We could not have dreamed of a more wonderful experience and I cannot wait to go back.

We enjoyed our stay so much! We celebrated friends bachelorette trip and it was the perfect place for it! The pictures really don’t do this property justice. We were overwhelmed with our open, bright, and cozy it was. Katy was an amazing host, who we actually met, and was so sweet. I look forward to hopefully returning with my husband and friends one day! Highly recommend!

Beautiful home - conversation friendly
Many conversation areas. Many extra supplies, toileries etc. It was near 100 degrees outside so we did not get much outside time on the lovely sitting areas. There are four or five very nice places. The kitchen is beautiful and has coffee supplies. It is hard to say enough to do it justice. The owner responds very quickly if you have any questions.

The highlights of this property are the kitchen and the wrap around porch. It was just my husband and I but I can see this being a wonderful place for a larger family or two couples to share.

Lifelong Friends Get-together
My friends and i were looking for a place to decompress, enjoy some wine, cook, laugh, and hike. This absoltelt fit the bill completely. It was very cozy with a warm and inviting living room open to the kitchen, perfect for cooking, drinking, and enjoying company! We loved how close it was to one of our favorite wineries, Monteluce. Beautiful home close to all the wineries
My friends and I rented this home as a ladies getaway for hiking and wine and couldn't have been more pleased by the lovely home and grounds right next to Monteluce winery. The instructions were great and the house and grounds were decorated for fall! It was so cute. There were note cards with instructions everywhere so you didn't have to guess at things and having 2 bathrooms was a nice bonus for a group of 4. The gourmet kitchen was beautiful and it would make a great holiday rental to cook a family meal in. I would definitely stay here again! It was such a lovely stay.

No sleep
1st evening: fire alarm goes off while I’m in a bath. Fire dept came and all. Thought this was a freak event so I decided to just.forgive. Next day: no issues. Last evening: fire alarm woke me up at 2am, so I drove back home 11hrs away on zero sleep. No partial refund was offered-I mean $0- despite the obvious need to get proper rest. I was so scared I put myself in the dangerous situation of sleeping 3 hours at a rest stop on my way home instead of spending that last night there. I struggled with leaving this review but my husband insisted it is the right thing to do.

Katy J is a lovely rental! The master bathroom is massive and I enjoyed the soaking tub throughout our stay. The kitchen was fantastic and certainly didn't feel like a rental. Katy was an amazing host, incredibly kind and gracious! Kodiak, the kitty that lives outside, was precious and added to our wonderful stay. We highly recommend this property to others and look forward to going back ourselves. Excellent location and super safe.

This is a unique, gorgeous, well kept and wholesome property. Beautiful surroundings. We recommend it and would stay in it again. You do need a car for transportation. Everything is 15-20 minutes from the house.

This beautiful 6 acre property that adjoins the largest Tuscan style winery ( 400 acres) of Montelucee was as good as it gets! Kathy’s house was the “ gathering place” for our wedding party. My fiancé & I, Cindy, were married at Montelucee winery. I have been in many VRBOs - this property is at the top & Kathy is an incredible host!

A Christmas Wonder
Four adults tayed at this property to experience Christmas in Dahlonega. I was hoping to basically jump into a Hallmark Christmas movie and this place did not disappoint. It was so amazingly decorated. The property is so private and quiet. The house was gorgeous and so close to everything. The host had anything you could need and the kitchen was completely stocked. When she told me that all we needed to bring was clothes, she was not kidding. Thank you so much for an unforgettable weekend.

Fabulous Rental
This is a wonderful rental and could be our best rental ever. The house and property is well kept and is a beautiful setting. The ambiance and charm is very comfortable. The owner has it well stocked and the kitchen is well equipped. The outside lighting is magical and the deck has numerous places to set and enjoy. I would not hesitate to recommend this rental and it being right next to Montaluce Winery makes it even better. Excellent rental!!

Wonderful warm inviting home
Some of our family stayed here for family wedding at monteluce, and it was so convenient and comfortable. Was a great place to relax between festivities and the coffee, drinks, and snacks were a very thoughtful and much appreciated added touch. Kathy was easy to communicate with.
