The stay in dhalonega in this house was fun. The house is very close to downtown is to why I chose it. It’s an older house with a lot of charm and our family of twelve stayed comfortably. Leland was very accommodating after a little snafu but it all worked out. I would stay again if we come.

We were looking for a house to hold us and in-laws. It was perfect! Plenty of room for everyone. Large outside porch and I closed porch were perfect. Talked with the owner and he was very attentive and seemed like an overall nice guy. Perfect location, very convenient to town.

Great location. Very large home that sleeps 12 people comfortably. Additional full-size couches available as well. Communication with owner was wonderful as he provided with details regarding cookware and appliances. We were accommodated with early check in, which was nice. We would definitely stay here again when visiting north Georgia.

We enjoyed our stay. Owner was great very responsive. The house is older not open concept the family room not as big as we thought but we made it work. No kitchen table but again made it work. 7 women we love to congregate in the kitchen while cooking. We used small table from game room. The house was very clean. Private nice outdoor space.

Friends Getaway
Pros: We loved being here! it was so close to town. The place was beautiful and worked well for our group We loved the pool table and played many many games there. Cons: there need to be more dishes and utensils for the maximum number of people to stay there. A lot of the outlets in the sunroom area did not work so that was an inconvenience. the mattress's are hard and slightly uncomfortable but that is a small thing over all. We loved the hot tub but i do wish there was a cover over it so it can be used even when it is raining outside.

Spring break
We had a great family trip for Spring Break (3 couples, two 2- year olds, two 5- year olds). The house was very conveniently located- just a few minutes from downtown Dahlonega and only about 30-45 minutes from plenty of hikes and wineries and other activities. Our kids are exhausted! Our favorite part of the house was the chimney area out front- we had fires every night, roasted s’mores and drank wine. The house was very clean and the owner was always prompt with responses. Highly recommend!

Amazing Family Rental
We rented this home for my mom in law’s birthday so we could all spend time together. It was perfect because it has a large outdoor fireplace with plenty of fire wood and an area to play corn hole. We also roasted hotdogs and s’mores, and we enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. There were 8 adults and the house is so roomy and we each had plenty of personal space. And it was very clean! Leland was our contact person and he immediately answered our questions before and on arrival and was very accommodating. I had seen previous reviewers praising him, so once I saw his name on the email I felt any issues that might arise would be handled. But, thankfully there were none related to the rental! I would highly recommend this home, especially for family gatherings. We will be back!

Christmas celebration
The things I loved most about this property was the fireplaces, hot tub, pool table, safe neighborhood feel, and the proximity to town and hiking. If you fill the bedrooms to capacity, though, the seating is difficult throughout (except the picnic type tables in sunroom, where we never sat). The coffee cupboard is nice, but kitchen is not overly stocked with cookware, utensils, etc. Communication with property owner was tricky. I had to google Evolve and call them that way as I could not get through on VRBO. Once I did reach someone, I did appreciate their kindness and quickness to put me in touch with a local contact, who was also very kind and quick to help. (Hot water is available, just not in the normal way you turn a faucet. Ice maker was broken and not enough utensils (he brought replacement and more utensils). The garbage disposal did not work. We didn’t report that, just threw scraps in trash. Overall we did enjoy our stay and would return.

My family and I stayed in this beautiful home to attend a wedding at blue mountain vineyards. We all loved this home. The owner was available if needed which was appreciated. This was the cleanest rental house we’ve ever stayed in. We had no complaints and would definitely rent again. Highly recommend!

Fun Labor Day stay in Dahlonega, GA.
The property was clean, neat, and very spacious. We enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, and pool table. Each bedroom had a television, as did the great room and den. Our family of eleven thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we would recommend this property to anyone!

Overall the property was fantastic. There were a few cosmetic issues here and there but it’s an old house so that was expected. The views in the morning and at night were awesome. The fireplace out front was a big hit with everyone. I would definitely book this cabin again.
