"We enjoyed our stay at the Kookaburra Cottage immensely. The biggest drawcard was probably the location, short walk to the town centre yet quiet and we still got to enjoy the wildlife experience with Kookaburras, kangaroos, and an echidna around the corner! The indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit was enjoyed by the family. The heating in the cottage was very adequate which made for a cosy and comfortable stay. Communication response from the host was prompt and helpful. It was our little home...

"Comfortable place to stay. However would have been more comfortable if front door was accessible & fitted with lockable fly wire screen. No lock on back door screen. Weekend was hot & flow through air at night would have been good Shade umbrella needed for outdoor setting "

"We loved our 3 night stay with our 2 x old dogs who loved the massive deck that is fenced. The view are amazing and so peaceful. Loved the walks into town from here and the nature. Thank you again and hopefully the fires stay away from you all."

"We love the unit which backs onto the reserve at the back. The view is lovely of kangaroos and emus from the back windows. The nice big dining table is good for playing games on. The only problem is the parking as we had to reverse in our cars because our unit is the back unit and the back car port is shared. If the front unit has its own car port in front then the parking problem would be solved."
