This might increase your car rental price by 30CHF if you're renting from Switzerland (and declare that you're crossing the border). Villa is in (european) walking distance from an Aldi, however, please remember that stores are closed on Sundays. "We stayed in the apartment for 10 days and had a lovely time. The place is actually better than the pictures. Nice kitchen, good bathroom, bed were good enough (although might need replacing some tome soon). The balcony is lovely in the morning for breakfast amd the garden is great for drinks and lazing around. Swimming in the lake is great! The only down side was the neighbours macross the road making a noise."

"Wir waren mit 20 Personen in der Unterkunft um unser Sommerfest zu feiern. Die Lage ist super, 5min mit dem Auto vom Südufer des Kirnbergsees entfernt. Supermärkte waren mit dem Auto auch schnell zu erreichen. Für 20 Personen war ausreichend Platz, sowohl an dem großen Esstisch, als auch im Wohnbereich und draußen auf der Terrasse. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder kommen"

Beautiful setting with stunning views

"Quirky place high up in the mountains. Beautiful setting. Great breakfast and good sizes rooms, however the walls are paper thin so you hear your neighbours at all hours. We didn’t get much of a lie in! Our shower was luke warm and not very powerful. "

"The location was a small town. Lots of walkable shopping. The hotel was quaint, affordable, staff was super nice and very helpful. We had dinner at the hotel. It was very good. We only started one night, wish we would have stayed longer to check out the area more. The thermal spa was worth a visit!! Highly recommend!"

Good choice!

"Great choice in the area to explore both sides of the border. It is much cheaper to stay in Germany than Switzerland. A ten minute walk to the Rheinfelden train station on the Swiss side where you can access all of Switzerland. Breakfast is very good, room is up to date and clean. Staff is friendly and attentive. Elevator is tiny! Several grocery stores nearby. Would like it better if the room to had a fridge. I've stayed here twice and would happily do so again."

Sommerfest in Bräunlingen

"Wir waren mit 20 Personen in der Unterkunft um unser Sommerfest zu feiern. Die Lage ist super, 5min mit dem Auto vom Südufer des Kirnbergsees entfernt. Supermärkte waren mit dem Auto auch schnell zu erreichen. Für 20 Personen war ausreichend Platz, sowohl an dem großen Esstisch, als auch im Wohnbereich und draußen auf der Terrasse. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder kommen"
