Overall, this hotel is a decent place to stay, but two things really ruined the experience for me. The first was a relatively minor problem. There was a noticeable stain on the bed spread and I asked to have it changed, but they assured me it was clean. I had to complain a second time before someone with a not so good attitude came to change it. While I understand clean bed spreads can have stains, but with such a noticeable stain, I just wasn't comfortable with it.
The second issue was by far the biggest mood breaker. The hotel has a policy that does not allow you to park a motor scooter that you do not personally own or belongs to the hotel overnight. We tried out the motor scooters available at the hotel, but found them unsatisfactory so we rented from an outside source. When we got back at night we were told that outside rentals were not allowed to park overnight, but a kind security guard allowed us to park anyways. Unfortunately, management found out about this and gave us a huge lecture about their policy which just really ruined my impression of the hotel. I think this policy is to disincentivize outside rentals, but in my opinion this just serves to annoy customers and limit our choices. If I had known about this policy before booking this hotel, I would have chose another place.
