The heater was not working and had a funny smell. But otherwise, the staff was very nice and accommodated us since we’re were going to arrive late. Not bad for a one night stop on our roadtrip to Florida.

I liked that the grounds were in good condition and that there was a stove and full-size fridge in the room. However, the room cleaning could have used a bit more detailing. The main thing I didn't like was I had a hard time getting clean towels from the front office. First of all, I had to bring used towels in for trade-ins, and second, with two people in the room, I was only given 3 full sets to use for that night and the next morning. Try dividing 2 people into 3 sets of bath towels. That leaves 1 set for the next morning. I didn't want their towels. Plus I paid a deposit that would have covered those dollar store towels even if it were so. This could have been a nice stay if not for the dirty door frame and the corners of the room. I'm going to find another place to unwind on the Gulf Coast.

Disappointing
I stay an average of 3 nights a week in a hotel, so I’m generally not too picky. But I chose this hotel based on the pictures on their site, and two things I like are a tub and a full size fridge. I got neither. Also, there were three hotspots and two did not work at all and the 3rd was so slow as to be unusable. I had to just use my phone as a hotspot. No streaming. Also…the Loud a/c unit was 2’ from the bed, and it pointed directly at the sleeping spot. I ended up putting my pillows at the other end of the bed. I could have stayed at any of three casino hotels for about the same price, but I wanted simplicity, and the big fridge. Won’t be back
