"We are a group of 'mature' ladies that for 23 years have been going away twice a year for walking weekends in the UK. The house was extremely clean, well planned out and big! The location was amazing and the views from the house and hot tub were spectacular. The outdoor space is very large, extremely well maintained and offers amazing views plus a dining area with quality table and chairs, a wendy house for the children and a building with a 'ping pong' table in it (we didn't use this so can't comment on quality). We did a couple of lovely local walks, visited Carrig Cennan Castle, walked to a waterfall and visited the Ape & Monkey Sanctuary. We had a great time. The communication with Kathryn was fantastic, speedy and helpful. We were greeted when we arrived and shown the property and given details of who to contact if we had a question. You felt that they really wanted you have a great time. One of us was celebrating a 60th birthday and there was a birthday card and fizz waiting for us when we arrived. On our last evening, as usual, we voted for how we would rate the property and surroundings compared to all the others we had stayed in and everyone put it at number 1 or 2! You won't regret staying here. We hope to be back."

"We stumled across this hotel by accident but what a find. Set in a very picturesque location the hotel is quite charming. There are many positives which include the rooms, the food dinner and breakfast, the staff (who were just superb) and the owner who was only to happy to chat about the hotel and its history. This is a great place to go and unwind and all four of us who visited just loved it."

"We really wanted to experience Wales in as authentic a way as possible and we succeeded brilliantly by staying here! The cottage was perfect even if the drive up to it was a little interesting. If you are from the States as we are, you’ve never driven roads quite those in Wales."
