It appears that that the hotel is undergoing some renovation because some areas were roped off and oddly connected. The area and close proximity to the water and variety of eateries were the best thing about this hotel. In summary, it’s a glamorized Motel 6 with not so friendly staff. "

"Michaelangelo helped us every step of the way and even went out of his way to help us check in. He was amazing, thank you! The place is extremely clean, beautiful rooms, the beds are very comfortable, and the location is perfect for those who want to be near the downtown area. I highly recommend this stay and do yourself a favor and try the strawberry gelato at Bar Cipriani--you haven't tried a strawberry until you have tried this. Absolutely wonderful stay!!! "
