It is practical and good for a one night stay. You can add a breakfast for a reasonable fee. The check-in host was fluent in both French and English."

No air conditioner Phone in the room has no connection to the reception/room service/housekeeping etc. For us, the cold welcome, unfriendly attitude - were a first time experience and hopefully the last one.
