"I will get negatives out of the way first, the listing says this is a working dairy farm however there is just a few cows and one pig. The grandchildren were looking forward to learning and watching milking etc but there was no opportunity to do this. Also we were told we could use the hot tub and pool when the weather improved however both were not ready for use in the 2 weeks we were there. "We were completely happy with this gorgeous cottage in a very sleepy and not too far removed village. Honfluer is only 10 mins drive away - perfect really. Considering the price, this is a five star rating for us. The place is clean and spacious. Beds are comfy! Shower is amazing! Wifi very strong. The host was very friendly and relaxed. Plenty of chopped wood for fire and bbq. Like I say - the ideal stay! We will come back some day! Especially for Pipa the sweet goat. : )"

"A very friendly and helpful host who set us up andade us feel very welcome. The house itself is well set up and is a great space for a family. It's a town house and faces a fairly busy road, but it's close to the seafront and we weren't aware of passing traffic once inside. It was a very rainy week so we didn't use the courtyard much but it look like a pleasant space for outdoor eating. Altogether a great town house over several floors."

"Dreadful steep, uneven road to get to property with nowhere to park outside property - the offer was to park in the road at the bottom of hill! However, gite itself was wonderful- clean, tidy & every convenience. However had it been made clear about the steep narrow road & no parking, we would not have chosen this property. Definitely no good if you have mobility issues, fine if you don't! We also expected a 'sea view' - definitely not from the property! All in all, rather misleading but a...

"Lovely cottage with everything you need for a self catering holiday and really cosy. Yport still retains its village atmosphere, it has a few nice shops for your supplies and a pebble beach to enjoy. The only disappointment was the small garden which had been neglected and was overgrown, we weeded and tidied it up for our use. We would all return without hesitation."
