"This house was beautiful and the pool was fantastic but the road to the house was very dangerous and guests definitely need a four wheel drive to get to the house. The house was a bit spooky at nights. Top floor was very noisy and everything shook when you moved and lots of noise from rats in the walls, and birds and shutters moving... so a bit scary for my taste. However Paolo was super nice and took very good care of us."

"Villa Marinella is perfectly located to explore this part of Sicily: San Vito Lo Capo, Erice, Segesta, La Tonnara, Castellammare del Golfo, Scopello++. There are fantastic beaches close by for swimming and snorkelling. The villa itself is perfect for relaxing by the pool or in the seating area during the heat of the day or for taking "sun-downers" The hosts Manuela and Marco were attentive and gave us good tips on places to visit and made great suggestions for restaurants. It's situated off the main road amongst a beautiful backdrop of mountains and sea. It's airy and cool even in high temperatures. In terms of the local area - there are some wonderful beaches all around but you will need a car as it is off a main road and the local eateries are a short car drive away."

We had several issues with it when we arrived but they were quickly sorted out by Claudia and her father who were both endlessly helpful.
