"A hospedagem é muito bonita e os anfitriões são MUITO gentis, agradáveis e compreensivos. Nós não ficamos até o final da estadia por que mudamos os planos, mas, para quem quer um local sossegado, muito próximo de ESVRES e com um tratamento muito especial, eu recomendo. A cidade é muito agradável e a região é linda. Os quartos ficam dentro da residência principal e são apenas dois. "What a superb little place, not so little as the dog and I had the house to ourselves. If you want something which is quiet, safe, typically French and within a 10 minute walk of a fab bistro in the village then this is for you. Host was superb, great communication and attention. Would highly recommend as a pit stop if driving from UK to Spain."

"Beautiful setting in a very old (1450) flower mill. Very well decorated and clean. The hosts are charming and the breafast was out of this world."

"The Manoir is a charming, rustic property. A warm and friendly welcome from Marie. Te property is a couple of kilometres from the nearest village so peace & isolation is guaranteed. A refreshing dip in the pool on arrival was very welcome. Marie’s home cooking for the evening meal was lovely with a great selection of wines. The room was on the top floor. Good, comfortable bed and a large bathroom with a great walk in shower."

"We went to the Loire Valley to see the castles in the area. We traveled with our five year old and the pool at this home was a perfect way to end a day of walking and sightseeing. The location is around 25-90 minutes away from the well known chateaus of the area. Breakfast was delicious and Estelle made us feel welcome from the start."

"Beautiful exterior, swimming pool and room. Greeting by a member of staff who tried, but didnt explain all, eg the gate locking system for the pool. "

"Faulty towers like- nice chateau crumbling into decay. Putty actually missing from window leaving a gap/ mummified insect on frame- no shower/ no aircom/ no safe/no tv/ missing hairdryer"

"I wish we had longer to stay. The Château has been renovated with all the modern comforts you need. Lovely bedrooms, big bathrooms and beautiful views across the countryside. Steven is also a friendly and welcoming host who makes the best English tea, his own jams and bakes pastries daily. Nearby towns (10 mins drive) have excellent restaurants also if you want to venture away for a meal, incl a Michelin starred. "

"The most amazing property with superb views, oodles to do for entertainment. The pool and spa facilities are amazing and all the sports equipment were well used by our family group. There was 38 of us, across three generations and we would visit again in a heart beat!"

"The house is located pretty much outside any urban noises which was exactly what we wanted. The setting of the house is very well designed. Plenty of space for sports, games, swimming in the lovely swimming pool. Overall, we had a great time staying there. We'll probably book it again in future. "

Pierre & Vacances Residence Le Moulin des Cordeliers Loches

"We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Pierre et Vacances in Loches. The apartment was clean, quiet and quite spacious (for the 2 of us) and we had a nice balcony overlooking the town. The parking was very good and it is a few minutes walk into the town where there are several places to eat."

"Beautifully renovated chateau, combining a thoughtful mixtiure of period features with modern touch. Our room was lovely but rather compact (we only stayed 2 nights so that was fine). We had views of front garden (impressive cedars). Super vista from the terrace and a great outdoor pool. Breakfast was very good but pricey 24€ pp.daily, served in the pavilion accessed by an underground passage. Reception staff were super helpful. "

A very peaceful and lovely place to stay
