Nice room and bathroom overall for the price. Tv remote didn’t work consistently. No hot water in shower on first night. Staff didn’t speak english so not able to assist with excursion bookings as i had thought. Clean and comfortable bedding, so that helped.

For the budget traveler , this is it ... :) Location is far from the main park , but a cab is only $2 ... And you have a the market 3 blocks away, Cheap eats !

Located on a street selling vehicle related products, nothing to eat. Furniture was covered with dust. Wifi was unable to connect in room due to weak signal. No hot water on the night, I didn’t voice out as nobody at reception. They don’t even have a electrical kettle, you have to watch it when you cook your water on a gas stove.

A very bad experience!
We had a horrible stay at this hotel. At our arrival the room didn't look at all as the pictures and it had a shared bathroom instead of the private bathroom that we paid. After we complained, they moved us to a room with a private bathroom but it didn't have hot water! So we still had to share the bathroom to have a hot shower. No wifi inside the room, we had to go to the lobby to get acces. The second night the whole hotel lost electricity for 24h!! No water on the shower (because electricity) and we had to clean ourselves with wet towels. We went to sleep literally on the dark and we couldn't charge our phones. The next morning we couldn't even have breakfast because of no electricity. The third night (back from our tour of Machu Picchu) they gave us a third room, again with no hot water in the shower and no wifi in the room. I can understand we had bad luck, but I also want to denounce that the pictures they show are a misrepresentation and the reality is not at all like the pictures. On top of that, the location is more than 20 minutes walking from the central plaza (not the 5 minutes they say). I feel very disappointed with this hotel, cause you can get much better for much less.

For 25 usd, better things were expected. Only good aspect is-it is clean. Otherwise: No staff member speaks english, there is a wash basin outside outside the toilet (nothing inside the bathroom), now separate shower area and so the water floods the toilet seat and everything else. For the 2 days i stayed, there was zero internet. Breakfast was 2 peices of stale bread and tea/coffee. I would book something better at that price.

This is a pretty old building that's showing it's age. I stayed for a week. The shower was hot for 3 days, luke warm for 2 and cold for 2 of the days. There's no heating, so you must bundle up. The bed is bowled shape, so I had really bad back pains when I got up. Wifi is barely traceable and after 9pm don't bother....no internet. The locaton is ok. It's about a 10 min walk up to the main plaza. It's also about a 15 min walk down to the bus terminal if you are trying to connect with the bus to another city. It's a shame that the hotel let me down, because the staff were friendly and courteous. Hate to write a negative review, but I felt people should know the honest opinion of a fellow traveler. Would I recommend this place.....probably not.

Staff are incredibly friendly they are very helpful even though there’s a language barrier. The hotel and amenities were very clean the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. And the staff did nice things like make tea and coffee in the morning and do wake up calls as requested

More like a hostel
This hotel was more like a hostel. There wasn't even soap in the bathroom. The wifi almost never worked. Someone was smoking outside and definitely made it's way into our room. Also, the water was only warm in the shower for about a minute. Although it was a cheap option, it didn't have most of what it advertised.

Nice hotel with friendly staff!
Our taxi driver had a hard time to find out the hotel, so please make sure you have the phone number so you can join the staff for directions! We liked our stay and our room (even if we got hit by the altitude sickness...) and you can make yourself some tea in the common area as there is always hot water. By the way, the water in the shower was super hot, so you can take a real shower! Friendly staff, they helped us with directions & kept our luggages safe while we went to Machu Picchu. I highly recommend this hotel :)

it's a little bit hard to find as the name is just cedros...not cusco cedros inn, but it's just DIRECTLY opposite wanchaq station...the room are clean, wifi.fast.enough, very kind staff who allow me to store my luggage before and after my checking date! its the best place you can stay if you want to stay near to both bus and train terminal!

Great staff
The hotel is basic, good for the price. I had a single room that was quite dark. Everything was clean but the best feature is certainly the staff: helpful and attentive they'd go out of their way to please guests. Great simple breakfast with local bread (delicious!), and butter that seemed just churned.

Awful! Awful! The shower almost made me catch cold... The decoration of the entire "hotel" is like a hospital! Awful! What's worse, I asked the manager -the only person spoke a little English there- to recommend a tour agency for me, yet she took me to an agent who charged me 4 times more than other agency (I found out later when I went to the trip)... can't be worse!!!!!

Ok to crash at but don't expect much.
When we arrived they didn't have a room with two beds for us - They blamed the reservation for this but it clearly said two beds. There was no toilet paper and it took over 20 minutes for them to find any. The water was either scalding (and I like a hot shower) or completely cold. The pictures are truthful, but in the most positive light. The owner seemed nice and seemingly gabe us some good information about our trip to Macchu Pichu the next day, and arranged an early morning taxi to the train station as well as a bag breakfast of the local bread which was delicious. The information about our return trip was very incorrect according to PeruRail and our experience however.

Adequate for late one night stay near Wachaq train
We were arriving at the Wachaq station late and I didn't want to secure a taxi to take me to a hotel that was far from the station and risk not knowing where I was being taken. So I chose Cedros Cusco, a 500 meter walk from the station. It met my expectations. The price was right, as was the convenience. The staff was solicitous. Went out to buy me a bottle of water. We left early the next morning. It was accepatable for a one night stay, but not more. The shower was hot. There were dust bunnies under the bed.

Secure, a little noisy.
Excellent staff, fair price, shower was warm. Secure front entry and staff present at all hours. A bit noisy from street and host family. Good location, away from, but within walking distance of tourist areas.
