"Fantastic hotel! Our first night there was one other family in the hotel. The second night we were the only ones! The photos online are very accurate. Staff were very friendly and had lots of recommendations for restaurants for us. The hotel is a one minute walk to the town center. The only slight negative, which the hotel cannot control, were the church bells ringing from the nearby church, EVERY HOUR. Other than that, highly recommend. "

"This was a great stay. The staff was very helpful and great. The place and the room was super clean. The bed was so comfortable, I didn't want to get up in the morning. Nice comfortable pillows (not the usual flat worn pillows). Super clean bathroom with hot water. I can't say enough about this hotel and how great it was. I plan to return to Barichara and I'll book in this same hotel. Good breakfast as well. Safe, and a short walk to the supermarket D1 and only about 7-10 minute walk to the main square. Overall excellent stay."

"Beautiful grounds, but at $127 USD per night, the property just wasn't worth the price. For instance, an old bar soap from a previous guest was left in the shower. Pretty beat-up dishware in the kitchenette. And while the room did offer a beautiful mountain view, unfortunately we could also hear road traffic noise from the main road down the hill. "
