"We had the most wonderful holiday at this lovely farmhouse. with a special bonus of the generosity and care of the lovely couple who owned the property. We were welcomed by Maricarmen who proceded to show us round the house with beautiful linen on the beds and perfectly ironed spare bedlinen in the wardrobes as we were staying for two weeks. next we were introduced to the chickens in the corner of the garden who produced organic eggs for us and ample veg. & fruit in the garden. it was lovely and...

"Fabulous house set in a breathtaking location, only minutes from Portosin and great stunning beaches. House was well equipped and very comfortable. Bedrooms were a good size, bathrooms clean with powerful showers. View from the roof top terrace was beautiful and especially good for star gazing. "Casa da Laxa was exactly what we were hoping for and more. The location is so tranquil tucked into a hill on the edge of temperate rainforest. Checking in was very smooth and the house very spacious and equipped with everything you might need. We headed out to visit castros, petroglyphs and hot springs but also spent plenty of time wending our way through the forest and the largely abandoned village, visiting the local river pool and sitting outside the local bar. The perfect getaway."

"The home was beautiful and confortable. Fran was bery nice and brought his daughter to help with English. The only drawback was location. It was not convenient to Santiago because getting a taxi was hard. Taxis from Santiago woild not come to us and were not familiar with the address. Fran helped order a local taxi for us. It was easier once we had a car. If you are doing the Camino stay in Santiago downtown. If you want a peaceful country setting, this home is good."
