"The property is very unique, special. Located directly on the Douro river with incredible views. The house was welcoming, comfortable and clean. The food cooked for us was always in abundance and delicious. They, Elena and Claudia, looked after our needs (dining, drinks, laundry, etc) very well and kindly. Pedro as our concierge was incredibly valuable. He helped us with every aspect of our stay - securing boat moorings, confirming reservations, acting as a translator, helping above and...

"Lovely breathtaking views and nice modern amenities made for a great stay. Responsive and friendly caretaker let us in and replied to questions immediately. Quite secluded and peaceful and about 25 minutes from Regua. Typical country roads to reach it required careful driving. It was a nice base to come home to after a long day of sightseeing, relax and enjoy the evening"

"This is a great place to stay. Close enough to Lamego for quick visits and far enough away to relax and enjoy the area, view and sound of the river outside your window. Henrique and Francesca were great hosts, living just above us. Their brand new baby boy is a wonderful blessing for them. Unit is close to grocery shopping and all the area in the Northern part of Portugal. Enjoyed very much. "
