The breakfast is very good, it sets you up well for the day. Great advice from Stuart on where to eat and what to see locally. Everything at Ravenswood is spotlessly clean. It was fun to talk with them and the other guests, and the breakfast (made specially for each guest) was some of the best food I had while in the UK. "Clean and comfortable, good shower, and breakfast. Very impersonal though with little human contact. Check in is via a key box, breakfast was ordered by text the night before. Apart from the standard "brown or white toast" and "is everything ok?" at breakfast, no one from the B&B spoke."

"We had the most incredible stay at The Queen's View for so many reasons. On the way to the B&B, there was an accident in the middle of Linlithgow cutting off all traffic through the town and I had no idea how to get through to the B&B. Without needing to call, Catriona messaged us with directions helping us get around the traffic and saved an extended argument in the car! On arrival, we were greeted by Catriona and shown to our room (Superior Double Room w/ garden view), which was stunning and...

"Unterkunft sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Im ganzen Haus liegt alter staubiger Teppichboden aus. Zimmer sehr altbacken. Leider war der Wasserkocher so alt und/oder nicht richtig gereinigt, dass sich das Material am Boden gelöst hat und Schimmel darin war auch nicht auszuschließen. Eigentümerin hatte mich herfahren und parken sehen, kam aus ihrem Cottage heraus und lief an mir vorbei ohne zu warten oder grüßen. Sie wusste genau, dass ich ein Gast des Hauses bin. Etwas sonderbar."

"Great family run place with nice rooms and a covenient location. This place is great if you're renting a car or not. It's right by the train station that goes to either Glasgow or Edinburgh, but in a small-town area so that if you have a rental car, it's easy to manage. Lots of sights to see nearby. Great Scottish breakfast on request! Nicola is an excellent cook."
