"Es waren super schöne Tage beim Biathlon Weltcup 2025.Übernachtet haben wir in einen sehr schönen Ferienhaus in Steinbach-Hallenberg von Familie König.Das Ferienhaus ist sehr gut eingerichtet. Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht.Wir haben uns total wohl gefühlt.Früh ging es immer zum Bäcker der ganz in der Nähe ist.Dieses FH kann man sehr gut weiterempfehlen...Dankeschön nochmal, wir kommen gerne wieder hier her. "We spent Xmas and New Years at the cabin. We had a wonderful time. This is an ideal place to completely unwind and relax. The forest is 2 minutes away. We were lucky we had snow, and we took winter walks in the forest. The cabin is cozy and had lots lots of character. Thre are fantastic views of the forest from the upstairs balcony. The balcony was also ideal to see in all the New Year's Eve fireworks. Udo and his family were very welcoming. Thank you we had a fantastic time at the cabin."

"Comfortable and relaxing, unfancy. Spacious kitchen/diner and large shared bathroom. Sauna and washing machine welcome. Good for groups, with many historic sites nearby. Caretaker very obliging. A few more kitchen utensils and flyscreens on the windows might be an idea."

The forest is literally up the hill and wonderful for hiking, short or longer distances. The pool and bbq area pristine and sauna is amazing!
