"Lovely stay at Ardoe House. Loved the spacious room, comfy king sized bed, and clean and modern bathroom. Very quiet at night. Certainly not in the centre of things but that’s what we wanted. Only thing we thought could be approved on was the dinners we had in the bar- very average. Had the steak sandwich and the beef was chewy, and the pasta with tomato and beef sauce was very bland. (And we are not foodies!) Fish and chips were fine, and breakfast choices were good. "

"This was a beautiful property with attentive and hospitable staff. The restaurant dinner food was delicious (breakfast was just okay). Staff also went out of their way to wash a load of clothes for us and only charged a minimal fee."
