"It was comfortable and a very peaceful stay at Holiday Inn Slough. Staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were better than expected. All in all, Holiday Inn hotels never disappoint. Hence we always try to book with them. "

"Charming hotel right across from Windsor Castle. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. We stayed in a section that only had stairs to get to the rooms across a beautiful walkway but there wasn’t too many as there was only a couple of floors. We didn’t eat at the restaurant but it looked lovely. We were there for New Years and had the dinner and dance in the ballroom. The food was fabulous. "Easy 20-30 mins walk into Oxford city. Parking fees covers from 3pm to 11am the next morning. Staff who helped us to check in was kind of rude. He was speaking too fast and when we asked for clarifications, his tone changed, as though we couldn’t understand English. We are from a first world English speaking country, just not UK. "

"The security was very rude and intimidatory. They Would not allow me into the property without my key card. I explained that my friend has the key card and went back to the room early. I was the lead guest in the booking. I had email confirmation, my ID and the card I used to pay. Hotel security still refused me entry. I had to call the reception desk to get approval access. This was 4am. Prior to this rude hiccup I enjoyed my stay. After this incident it put a dampen on the rest of the trip."

"Breakfast was barely warm ! Shower was messy with rubber mat inside and bath mat out! Long walk from lift to shower. No coat hanging in restaurant area for outside clothing"

"First and foremost, the location cannot be beat. It is so central to everything you need and beautifully situated on the water. The staff at the front desk during the day were all so helpful and kind, really made you feel like you were at home. My wife and I enjoyed the decor of the rooms, a little different than your typical hotel, but more character for sure. Very comfortable beds as well. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone."

"Lovely clean property... absolutely loved it.. would like a clock but im a time person.. shower absolutely amazing... town center location stayed during england final didnt hear anything... only issue i had was booking.. i booked paid and didnt hear anything i called number which i advise do not call cost a fortune to brazil.. message and call the london number for apartment...spoke to a lovely lady.. think her nsmr was alexandra very helpful not had that for a while.. tv does not have normal...

"Pretty good all round - clean, nicely appointed and comfortable but with one major flaw. The boiler works away all night and with a late night and then an early rise the next day was a little disappointing and made sleeping soundly very difficult. 9/10 with the exception of the boiler noise "

"Second time staying and the staff were just a friendly as the first stay. Rooms are spotless and comfortable - bar area an added bonus and breakfast included in the stay you really cannot complain! We were greeted as we came out of the lift with Happy new year! Our new hotel for when we visit out relatives. "

Lovely little stay

"It is such a lovely hotel. It smells just drvine and this was my third stay. The 2nd time in this room actually. Sadly the bathroom floor did have some small flecks of dirt, the bath had rust on and we were unable to get the plug out of the bath. These are such small minor things but are worthy of note. The staff were fabulous as usual. The communal eareas were beautifully decorated for Christmas. And whilst ive already said it it is worthy if a second mention. The hotel smells amazing! "
