" It’s called HOSTEL Balai not Hotel - BIG difference. It was closed on arrival (14:00) so no 24hr reception. The staff left in the early evening so only guests left in the building! The bar was shut. The room was small and hostel-like It is very rundown. Only stay for a night if you have to. Lack of staff worrying for women travelling alone. "

We got anothet room which looked fine at first but there was mould in the bathroom and the AC did not work. Moreover, there was a strange smell in all rooms. "I recently stayed at this hotel (21-28 May 2014). There wern't many guest staying as it was out of season, but i didnt mind that. Unfortunatley the bar was closed 4 of the nights out of 7. You get 8 hours free wifi that can only be used at the reception area, after that, you have to pay for wifi. The pool was good, had the best pick of sun beds!
