"Excellent location, spacious, clean room with a country feel. I loved the all-around heating stove and the beautiful heating stove from 1773 just took us back in time. If I stay in Gruyeres again I would choose this place again, for the above reasons. "

The history and charm of the Chateau could quickly be felt upon arrival and did not disappoint for the rest of our stay! "Hotel owners were very courtious and breakfast served was excellent. But for my family who is not used to animals in the house, the dog and cat smell(which they have as pets as it is their home based b&b) was a bit irritating and my son and wife had sneezing due to it. So if you are allergic, be warned. Otherwise it is a very nice place with pleasing owners."
