"Not the best location, there wasn’t any toilet paper or hand soap. Had to wait over 10 minutes for someone to come on reception to check us in. Very rude and dismissive staff. Rooms were cold, no hot water in the shared bathroom. Walls were thin so could hear a lot of noise from other rooms and outside the door. "

"Wombat's is about as good as a hostel can get. I met some great people that i went to the grand prix with in my room. Fairly clean and our room had its own bathroom. The only negative was that the room was pretty hot at night but what can you expect when it's 95 degrees F every day. Overall it was a great experience."

"This was a great hostel in an old building with lots of character. Very clean, too. It was just a few minutes walk to the Oktogon metro station and the trams that will take you straight to the parliament and castle district (change to bus 16 after crossing the river). 3 minutes away is a pizza place that stays open until 2am. "

This was awesome since I arrived when there was no staff onsite and could easily enter the building, the hostel and my room without interacting with anyone. The hostel is very conveniently located, meters away from the Airport Express bus stop. Facilities are clean. My first impression was that there were not enough washrooms or showers, but I didn’t encounter anyone else in the washroom or shower area during my stay, so it seems fine. All in...

"A four night break at an apartment here and it was an ideal location for us. A warm welcome from the team after a late flight and close to the centre of the city. Highly reccomend and we'll hopefully be back"

"The hostel itself is set up really cool and pretty much exactly what you would expect. I will say it offered less in ways of connecting with people compared to other hostels I have stayed at and much less than others in the city. However, it was only a 10 minute walk from one of the major train lines and the area is absolutely beautiful with landmarks, and I felt incredibly safe the entire time while traveling alone. Limited dining around but for the price, you can't really beat it."
