It's an old coach house which still maintains a lovely atmosphere and welcoming charm. Good Food, Lovely Staff. Always stop here when visiting friends and family.
This is our second stay in The Salutation Inn. We really enjoy our stays here. The rooms are comfortable, the service excellent, the food is good quality and reasonably priced, and there is a good selection of drinks - again, reasonably priced. We love this area, so plan to come here again ASAP.
I was attending an event at the nearby Castell Henllys Iron Age village. The Salutation Inn was the ideal place to stay. Clean, comfortable and welcoming, it was also a very good place to have dinner!

Warm reception, clean and tidy, lovely local people in the bar, beautiful river Nevern right at the end of their lawn. Slightly old fashioned but really good value. Would stay again - ideal for visiting my son and family in nearby Cilgwyn.
Lovely staff, very nice food that is reasonably priced, spacious room with all the usual amenities and a comfortable bed. That's all I look in a hotel - and that's exactly what I got.
Good country pub. Good food, good wine and excellent staff/welcome

Very much like a Travel Lodge/Premier Inn. Clean room, en suit bathroom,TV, Wi Fi, desk, one easy chair, no frills, no character. OK for a short stay when you can be out all day. Not a place to stay in on a wet day.
My sister & I had walked the coast path from Goodwick, taking footpaths from Newport to The Salutation Inn...we were so pleased to see it! A perfect place to stay after a long walk, refreshing beer in the bar before being shown our room. Very good dinner in the dining room later. The staff were very friendly & welcoming. Good breakfast before we left.

Highly recommend everything about it was very very good, definitely visit again if am in the area 👍
The staff were very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable although the bathroom was a little dated but everything functioned well, we had an evening meal which was excellent and the breakfast was cooked to order and wholesome one of the best breakfasts enjoyed. We only stayed one night on our way to Ireland convenient for ferry port of Fishguard.
A lovely setting.
All staff excellent.
Room very comfortable, en suite could do with a make over.
But plenty of constant hot water with a good pressure in the shower.
Breakfast was wonderful
Excellent value for money.
