"We had an amazing time at the 2nd Street Retreat! The host communicated phenomenally before/during/after the visit. There were a ton of games, books, movies and amenities. It's right downtown, within walking distance of everything this adorable town has to offer! Mt. Jefferson is a quick 5-7 minutes drive with beautiful views. We will definitely be staying here again."

Although it's an efficiency it's spacious and allows for cooking, relaxing, and dining in defined areas. A very well outfitted kitchen too! "Excellent place to stay right on the VA Creeper Trail. There is as much peace and quiet on top of this mountain as you can find anywhere on the planet. We saw the Milky Way stretch all the way across the sky. There are thousands more stars visible at night with no light noise to interfere. Everything we needed for our stay was nicely provided. Owner communicated excellently. Would recommend you book it now if your dates are available."

"A spur of the moment trip with my mom turned out to be the perfect spot for a long weekend. This little efficiency is clean, has everything one could need with a fully stocked kitchenette, spacious bathroom, a cozy bed (a double, snuggle up if you're not alone) and a covered patio to enjoy the outside. Took home a few gallons and should have stocked more. My dog loved the property as well. "We arrived at night and were not able to see the creek until we woke up the next morning. It's so close to the house and you can hear it with the kitchen window open. When we arrived, cookies and snacks were waiting for us and treats for the dog! The heat was on when we got there, which is a really nice touch as well. We are hot natured anyway, but it was so much nicer to come into a warm place than to walk into a cold place. We weren't really going to use the kitchen, so I didn't really care...
