"This is a lovely, centrally-located hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are nicely appointed. We had dinner in the pub, and breakfast in the restaurant, and both were delicious!"

"Overall I had a fantastic stay again, room comfort was good, bed very comfortable with nice linen. The room was a little on the warm side - which I have to say I prefer to a cold room but I know some people do not like it. You can of course open the window if you are too warm. The bathroom was a little dated in places but clean. The Bar food also has to get a mention - daily menu had a very good selection and a welcome change from the usual hotel offerings of just fried food. The strawberry creme brulee is a must have. Overall a very good stay."

"Hotel and service was great, we had dinner in the restaurant which was nice and had flavour but for what it cost the size was disappointing, the starter was small and the steak came with exactly 6 chips."
