"Family trip consisting of 2 grandparents, 2 parents, and 1 adult grandchild went off without a hitch. The property is so beautiful- meticulously clean house, soft beds and luxury bedding, top notch kitchen appliances, with the most peaceful view of the lake. Excellent communication from host, including helpful welcome book. Fresh loaf of cranberry bread from local farmer’s market was a nice touch. "Everything was easy and fine at the space. I had to stay for family reasons - so "location" was the most important factor to me. The worst thing in the unit is that the spiral stair is narrow - and a fat person or person with bad knees is NOT going to be using that stairwell easily. Otherwise, the unit had everything I needed and was perfectly appointed for an easy weekend stay. Enjoy!"

"This wonderful cottage has every amenity a traveler could want.. A beautiful modern kitchen, electric fireplace, lots of LED lighting, ample seating, extremely comfortable bed/pillows, and a huge smart tv. The neighborhood is gorgeous, and the property is located near many places worth visiting. Bear Mountain State Park, and the Storm King Art Center, just to name a few. "The "Ice Cream Barn" is a beautifully modernized dwelling, situated on a lovely property of woods and fields. You really feel like you are experiencing what it's like to live in the delightful New England community of New Canaan. The hosts are most gracious and kind (another characteristic of NC). The space is relaxing, spacious, and charming, with plenty of outdoor space as well. Can't say enough about this terrific place."
