"We booked a superior double room which was lovely, shower was a brilliant pressure! The bed was very squishy though so overnight if your partner moves so do you and if you have a bad back it will not be comfortable! "Mark , his wife and team create a friendly atmosphere where nothing is too much of a problem. My only criticism would be the standard of the croissants and danish pastries. they never looked fresh and appetising, the croissants were very bready, I will let you off the fruit selection because the whole country suffers from that!!!"

"We had a perfectly good stay at the Dog and Partridge, but the accommodation didn’t transpire to be what we expect. We were anticipating a cozy room, in a country pub setting but, in reality, the D&P offers good value, chalet-style family rooms, each with it’s own car port, in a large area behind the pub itself.
