We did not rent a car and the apartment is about a mile from town. I would say you might want one if you want to be out late. The trail to town is rustic and not something you could do in the dark. It is very steep! The apartment was well equipped and we got groceries and made a lite dinner each...

"Gorgeous view, exactly as pictured. The property is tucked away into a series of apartments which are themselves beautiful with many winding stone paths to reach the apartment. I would absolutely stay again, amazing value and we had a great stay. Parking would be a challenge outside low season. And one of the besrooms is more of a loft (no privacy) but we felt the overall condition and location of the place made up for it."

"Initial impression was that main area of apt was smaller than in the pics, but still roomy enough for 4 adults - and view was great! Very clean, mattresses adequate, kitchen had all we needed, and within walking distance of stores, promenade, restaurants, etc. Elevator a plus for people with heavy luggage or mobility issues. We would stay here again."
