"Pretty and cozy cottage in non remote rural area surrounded by lovely walks with our doggies. The cottage is small, but we were 3 adults with 3 dogs and it suited us fine for a 3 day break. The hosts met us, as they live next door, and were charming and very responsive to queries we had. The place itself is probably the best kitted out I've ever had, so no need to bring all the extras with you - it had a fully functional kitchen with lots of devices, coffee maker, blender etc and full array of tableware and utensils. Bedrooms were beautifully decorated with attractive bed linen and good comfy beds - again small, but perfectly formed! We found a few nice places to eat within 10 min drive and the walk to Leyland Marina was stunning along the estuary. A very nice touch was the generous welcome basket -much appreciated! Would thoroughly recommend to walkers and/or dog owners (but maybe not 3 dogs!!!)"

"Lovely welcome from the receptionist. Friendly staff and very accommodating. Room was large and very clean. Tea making facilities in the room and hair dryer. Large bathroom with bath and shower overhead. Only one bath towel, understandable for a single but two would have been better for a couple. Bed very comfortable. Bar and breakfast areas were very clean and well laid out. Did not have an evening meal, but breakfast was excellent. Would dry recommend and visit again."

"Superb! Ever so slight improvement touches to bring it up to ultimate standard; bigger TV in lounge (could easily accommodate a 50”) and, because of the configuration of the bedroom, the only location for a TV would be in the bed footer (and they are available). If dining at the Twr y Felin maybe a transport service could be offered. It would not need to be permanent but that would make for a first class service."

"We had a lovely relaxing weekend at the hotel. We had a delicious meal in the restaurant, staff are very friendly and helpful. The bar has a relaxing vibe. Our room as allways was very spacious and comfortable . The shower is great. Free parking is also a bonus."

"We had a lovely weekend at the hotel, the staff were very friendly, the evening meal and breakfast were very good. The village itself is very idyllic with some lovely walks right on the doorstep. The church is well worth a visit. Being able to take our dog Tilly with us and have her so welcomed in the hotel meant so much to us."

"It is a very unique property with nice walking trails and gardens. Overall it wasn’t kept up well and needs a face lift and grounds keeper outside. Rooms were nice with comfortable bed and good shower. Unfortunately it is far from everything and the restaurant and bar were not open Monday night so had to drive back into town. Breakfast was good and breakfast room very nice. No air conditioning but the fan in the room was nice. "

"Cara, the manager and her staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. The hotel is central to Saint Davids, and the coasta lhiking paths. We would highly recommend booking a boat tour of the neighboring islands. We would also recommend hiking the nearby coastal path at Saint Nons, along the cliffs to the beach. They were breathtaking. "
