"We needed a place to stay in or near Vinci for the night before our 3 week stay in a nearby villa began. Il Piastrino looked lovely and was VERY well priced. And it was exceptionally nice—from the spacious, charming rooms (surprise—we had a kitchen), the delicious breakfast, to the warm and welcoming staff. We arrived very late toward the end of a busy pris fixe am fresco dinner service but we were settled in and set at ease. And yes, we returned a few days later for the al fresco dining. Wow....

"This is the sweetest place we have ever stayed. We did not want to leave. Stefania is amazing. She got us reservations at the perfect restaurant up the hill. She is wonderful to work with. "Villa Parri is a beautiful well-preserved villa with amazing architecture and lovely surroundings. So friendly and helpful at the front reception. Great suggestions and helped us with the best places to park and see. It is off the beaten path so, with the exception of the amazing restaurant onsite, you have to drive to go anywhere. Of course the trade off is a small piece of serenity and quiet in a stunning villa."

"We loved our stay at the Borgo La Casseta. It’s a family business, they have a small restaurant on the main floor. It takes approx half an hour drive up the hill to get there from Pistoia. A little bit tricky to find. Parking is free (gated property). The room was clean, separate bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. A spectacular 180 degree city/valley view. "
