"Beautiful country side location. We were so unlucky with the weather, it was raining all the time and we couldn't really enjoy everything that the property had to offer. Alexandra, one of the owners, was great, what a kind person! Room was beautiful and super comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and eggs cooked to order. I hope one day I have the opportunity of staying here again but with sunny days!!! :) "

"What a fantastic country and what a fantastic stay! The location is perfect to visit several of the main tourists attractions in Slovenia and even in the north of Croatia as day trips. The room is great with comfortable beds, good shower, and an unbelievable breakfast full of fresh ingredients as well as traditional Slovenian specialties. And, the most important thing: if you need anything Stefan will be there to help you."

"This place is amazing. Truly a must see/must stay if you are in Slovenia. The host (Rok) was gracious, friendly, and super helpful ensuring we were welcome and well taken care of. My only regret was that we didn’t have more time to stay. Absolutely wonderful experience!"

"The owner was wonderful. She met us when we checked in with a welcome drink and a great appetizer that we had for dinner. She had tons of maps and information on surrounding things to see. The room was great and very clean and warm. They even had a washer and dryer for us to use for free. This was one of the friendliest hotels I have ever been to and can not wait to come back."

"My mom and I had such a lovely stay at this little place in the mountains. We booked because it was very close to the airport and she had an early flight. The accommodations were amazing for the price and the staff were so sweet and accommodating. We had dinner as well and were both very happy with our meals. Definitely would book again if I’m in the area! "

"This hotel is in a quiet residential area, a few minutes drive from the airport. Friendly English speaking reception. I stayed here for two nights. The bed was firm but comfortable, and my room was also equipped with a sofa bed and armchair, desk & chair, a noisy fridge, a TV with lots of channels, and a kettle with teabags & instant coffee. The apartments are very modern, with nice decor and have everything that you need, Outside there is a large bbq area and fire pit. "I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Grof. The accommodations were great. The attached cafe and restaurant had excellent food and a wonderful homey ambience. The breakfast was amazing. I liked it so much I extended my stay to relax and refresh before traveling home. I had to leave before breakfast on my day of check-out and they prepared a wonderful gourmet to-go meal for me. I’d totally recommend anyone to stay here!"

"Very pleasant and welcoming owner. At 3.3 km, it is walking distance to the airport with good sidewalks. It was exactly what I needed, a clean place to stay, time to read, study and hike while waiting for my flight home. Shuttle transport to the airport is available if you prefer not to walk. "
