"This was one of our best places we stayed in Italy. It is a family run agriturismo, with Guido (the owner) and his Aunt running the place. The property was absolutely gorgeous, located on a hill in the tiny village of Montichiello, Tuscany. "This friendly little hotel is one floor of an apartment building. Easy to miss, no big sign out front but go by the address number and find the hotel name on the buzzer.Easy walk to trains and all the shops, restaurants and historic sites. Basic double room with twin beds and clean private bathroom. Continental breakfast has many choices including fresh pastries, yogurt ham and cheese. We had a nice little balcony with a view over city to hills. Affordable, simple B&B run by nice people. "

"This property is the hidden gem of the Tuscany region and is a must stay for anyone visiting the area. Our room was large enough for 3 adults (loft area with a single bed) and the view from the suite was spectacular. Breakfast was also fantastic (not included but worth the 10 euro per person). This is a family run small hotel with great staff and service. 5 star review!"

"This was a great place to stay for two nights in late October and to take out and back day trips by train to Siena and Florence on back-to-back days. Very close to the train station - very convenient. Breakfast in the restaurant in the morning was small, but good. Highly recommend this location! It's small, but serviced and supported very well by the staff at the restaurant. "

"We really did enjoy our stay here. It’s an absolutely beautiful property. The only problem is that if you’re there in a cold season, be sure you crank up the heater in the room as quickly as possible because it takes a while for the room to get warm. Very friendly host And a very nice breakfast."

"The hotel was very clean and everyone was so friendly. Enjoyed the dogs and the music! Slept With the windows open and it was so peaceful. Delicious breakfast every morning. Lots of spots on the property to relax with a book and glass of wine."

"After pay my reservation trough Expedia, at checkout the hotel charged me again the full amount. The reason was they don't know how Expedia works (?). Called Expedia for a refund, since this is a double charge, with case # 179185339, they askes dor the evidence od double payment, everything sent properly on time. No answers so far two weeks after case was opened. Bad and expensive experience. "

"Beautiful place, extremely clean, fantastic breakfast. Had trouble getting a taxi the hotel owner provided a free ride for us to go to town, nearby market and restaurant. We were extremely happy with everything. Also a nice walking trail by a beautiful lake"

"The hotel was nice. The woman at the front desk who spoke English was very unfriendly. Seemed very annoyed if we asked questions. We opted to parking in their garage and the woman was pointing right while telling my husband to drive left. She was getting angry that he didn’t know if he should go right or left. "This is one of the most special properties we have stayed at. The staff at the front desk were extremely friendly and helpful from transportation to dining recommendations. We had a view of the valley from our deck that was breathtaking! The room itself was spacious, including the bathroom.The breakfast was plentiful with made to order coffee and the staff were on top of refilling the food and so polite! "

"The Hotel Minerva is one of my favorite places we stayed while touring Italy. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and enormous compared to most of the cities we visited, and it was only a 5ish minute cab ride to the train station. Close enough to the historical center that you can get to the churches and Medici fortress within 30-45 minutes at a leisurely pace. The included breakfast had many options, and I would recommend heading downstairs to the restaurant for at least one of your meals while in Arezzo though you may want to set a reservation during peak travel season since it seems many locals also enjoy the restaurant. Will definitely stay there again if we travel back to Arezzo in the future."

"This was a charming property and the cellar wine experience was most enjoyable. I would strongly recommend this property. Breakfast was excellent and the 1* Michelin Osmosi restaurant was excellent. Had a wonderful dining experience. Montepulciano is well worth a visit. The wines of Fattoria Sventoni are marvellous. "
