"Stay was ok, wasn’t cleaned before hand, was a mess, but last minute cleaners did come out at 5pm, the gate was broken and hot tub was dirty also didn’t get clean until the next day. Was supposed to stay extra day but decided leave day earlier as we didn’t find it safe due to locks was broken and bathroom window didn’t shut properly and during the night was banging with the wind,overall wouldn’t recommend staying here. Cleaners were nice and helpful but this should have been done before hand. "

"Lovely clean property with lots of space and rooms. Gardens beautiful and accessible with seating. Adults and children really enjoyed our stay however having tv in the reception rooms downstairs would have been ideal. "We recently had a 4 night stay at Dovecote house. A lovely house set in a primal location of all Alnwick local amenities. Upon arrival we were surprised by the size of the upstairs,3 double rooms, one twin and 2 bathrooms, just what we needed for a group of 7 adults 1 child, a baby and a dog . There were a few problems with the main bathroom, a bath that empties on its own whilst full, a light that was difficult to turn off and on and a unit around the sink which wasn’t attached.
