"We stayed here in July for one night and it was like being invited to a house party. The welcome could not have been friendlier. The accommodation was perfect and the little terrace was bathed with early evening sunshine, very pleasant. The Air con was very welcome later though. We didn't have the evening meal but it smelled delicious!! Breakfast was exactly what we needed. it was ideal and a lovely change from a chain hotel. Thanks, A little Gem!! "

"We had a really comfortable stay at Le Kouloury. Our hosts were very friendly and instantly made us feel at home. Our room was very clean and comfortable and a delicious breakfast was provided. "Unfortunately our stay was disappointing. On the advert it said dogs allowed but when we arrived we weren’t given the room advertised as there was a carpet on the floor. We were taken to an outside room which was very tired and old fashioned. We only stayed one night although booked for two. Probably much better in summer. The breakfast was very good but the dining room smelt very musty. Madame was very sweet - the hotel had been run by her parents for thirty years. It needs a little updating"

"Our stay here was amazing, very comfortable with quality linens and furniture. Location was convenient to different sites in the region. Anne was a gracious and warm host that made us feel comfortable immediately and had suggestions what to do in the area. The food was outstanding. One of the best places we’ve stayed at in over 30 years of travel. We stayed 4 days, wish we could’ve stayed longer. "

"Overall experience of the property: - Owners friendly, with a bottle of wine in the fridge on arrival - Fantastic pool and a lovely garden - Superb location to visit all of the key areas / sights within the Dordogne Few points to note: - The stairs in the property are very steep, therefore, not suitable for young children or the elderly - The wifi didn't work very well and was intermittent - not a deal breaker but useful to have - Very hot upstairs as no fans or a/c - again not a deal breaker...

"The hotel met our needs and the food in the restaurant is worth a visit. Good selection for breakfast. The hotel is in centre of the old part of Rocamadour and good number of restaurants. The area is interesting and lots to do. "
