"First of all a tip of the hat to Tommaso, our host. He is really on the ball, you ask him something and almost immediately he responds or drops by to see what's up. The Villa Nerino has 5 bedrooms, each with a very nicely appointed bath. I recommended to him that he install safety bars in the baths (I am disabled). "Fantastic Villa with lots of space Overall we had a great stay in this villa and would return. It was clean and description matched well. Everything was in working condition. The Owner was friendly and helpful. Car is essential but there are restaurants in 10min radius. Other places are easily reachable in 60min drive to explore. (For Florence we recommend train from Altopascio) The only slightly negative point was the electricy&gas bill at the end. Make sure you have enough cash left."

The best of Pisa.

"We were so impressed by this hotel. I was a complete pain about getting the right room so that our 3 year old would get a good nights sleep and they treated me with such grace and good humour. The rooms were very nice, we had 2 as we were travelling with family too. The breakfast was good, wake up calls were made and cabs ordered. Great advice about the area was given. They were so helpful with even supplying spare batteries for a family members medical equipment. Such a friendly hotel and it is minutes from the tower which is great if you are travelling with small children. We would not hesitate to stay there again. "
