Nice, eco-friendly house, but not located at pin
Visitors should be aware that the house is not located at the pin shown on the Stayz listing, and that sections of Point Plomer Road are currently poorly maintained gravel and so best suited to 4WDs.
Check the printed directions that the real estate agent provides when you pick up the key, rather than following the map or using GPS.
The house is located 900m inland from Point Plomer Road. Turn right after Big Hill cottages onto a tarred drive marked no entry/private, and drive up the hill to the crest. You will see farm sheds to the right and a farm gate ahead. The house is located down the driveway to the left.
The house would make a nice getaway (especially with the limited reception) for a couple, but is less suitable for children hoping for a beachside holiday. You would need to drive them down to the road and then along to find beach access.
We have suggested to the agent to update the listing.
