The Apple Store is a superb two-bedroom holiday home located opposite the owner’s home, in the heart of the rural mid-Devon village of East Worlington, near Witheridge. Enjoy a fantastic and secluded location which is perfect for a family of four or a couple looking for a relaxing getaway. The property is Grade II listed and has been beautifully refurbished throughout with some unique and sympathetic restorations including exposed beamed and vaulted ceilings, original woodwork, a contemporary kitchen, two stylish bathrooms and a homely living area complete with an electric wood burner. Upon entering the property on the ground floor, you will find the utility area and there is also a handy shower room leading off this. Local amenities can be found in nearby Witheridge where you can dine at one the welcoming eateries, stock up on essentials at the two convenience stores and post office or enjoy leisurely riverside walks. Visit the ancient village of Lapford where you can enjoy a meal in the 16th century pub. Nearby you can explore the Two Moors Way, visit RHS Rosemoor, The Grand Western Canal, Knightshayes House or the breathtaking scenery at Exmoor National Park, a short drive away. There are plenty of National Trust properties in the area, as well as some fabulous villages and farm shops. The accommodation is set midway between Devon’s two coastlines, convenient for a day out to either. The award-winning North Devon coastline is within a 50-minute drive with its golden sandy surfing beaches and the Jurassic South Devon coastal beauty spots are within an hour’s drive.
