"We had a standard room with river view. The room was very comfortable with everything we required. It was quiet hotel and a good location for the town. We booked bed and breakfast and the choice and quality were excellent. Great serviceand friendly breakfast wait staff. Highly recommend a stay here."

"Had a lovely Mothers day meal but unfortunately we were placed by the side entrance and people were constantly opening the door . It was absolutely freezing in there , poor Mother is 90 and it was way too cold for her . The roast meal however was faultless lovely and tasty and piping hot . Hotel Room could do with updating but it was very spacious and exceptionally clean . "

"A gem of an experience at Somerville House. Kind and friendly host couple, a cosy room with many small extra details of care, lovely breakfast too. Easy walkable to the downtown of charming Hereford."

"Very welcoming staff so that was a great first impression. Very well presented accommodation. Great shower. Plenty of beverages and having a sofa too in the evening was a bonus. Enjoyed some good food in the pub along with a very drinkable bottle of red. Great atmosphere. Bed was very comfortable. It is only self serve continental breakfast of cereal, yoghurt and toast. But price we paid was ok for that. Bad points - road was noisy but ear plugs sorted that out. Also need an eye mask as the roof window doesn’t have blind but apart from those points, I’d stay here again. "

"Best part of my stay was the staff- they were very friendly and always happy to help. I felt very welcome during my entire stay. The breakfast was really good, the room was comfortable and clean with all the necessities. Would love to come back!"
