"This cabin was perfect for a 2-night stay for us (husband and wife.) We really enjoyed the privacy the cabin offered, and the overall atmosphere inside was super cute and cozy. While we were there, there was an unexpected winter storm that rolled in and covered the place in snow which made for a beautiful winter wonderland right there next to the lake. "Great cabin. A really nice little get away to unplug for a minute. The claw foot tub and fire place really make it!"

"We stayed at the Holly House cabin. We had all the modern amenities we needed, in a very old cabin. There is no Internet or TV, but we dismiss it. Lots to do on the property, from fishing to a self guided tour of the old buildings on the property. The kids enjoyed it as well as the adults. Very unique kind of place."

"Did not know that it was a nice hotel to get away and relax right around the corner from my house. Loved the atmosphere of the hotel as soon as you walk into the place, it smelled amazing and the staff was friendly! Will be doing all of my staycations at this hotel from here on out! But was informed that the incidentals fee would be $500, now that is outrageous for valued customers! $50 is okay, but placing a $500 hold on someone’s card is ridiculous….please re-think this because you all will lose a lot of business and everyone can’t afford $500 holds for days…I’m still waiting on the $50 hold that was placed on my card from Sunday and today is Friday. Other than the incidentals fee holding everything was PERFECT!"

"This hotel is very nicely renovated and our room was amazing. We picked this hotel because it was we needed a place to stop overnight on our way to Chicago and it was directly across from a casino. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the staff was very accommodating when there was a slight confusion with our room type. I only wish we would have stayed longer. "
